On 21st December, the famous Santo Tomás open market is held in numerous towns throughout the Basque Country. In Mutriku, this event takes place on the Saturday closest to this date. In addition to the fresh farm products among the open air market stalls, you can find homemade bread, jams, cheeses, etc., and also farm animals.
